Art + Artisans developed an art program for Modera McKinney Ridge that responds to the storied character of its location.

The garden-style community was built next to urban prairie Erwin Park, connecting McKinney’s natural history and its growing reputation as a destination for young professionals.

The collection features contemporary landscape paintings that reference the property’s wooded surroundings, alongside abstract works in contemplative neutrals that echo the architecture and interiors. Textile installations reflect both the organic flow of the nearby creek and the history of McKinney as the world’s largest denim producer.

Like the rest of the development, the art strikes a balance between the built and the natural, the historic and the contemporary, giving Modera McKinney Ridge an authentic resonance and sense of place.
